    Offers full text articles from more than 5,000 (3,500 full-text) general interest magazines and scholarly journals.
  • Gale Academic OneFile
    Searchable database of citations, abstracts and full text from more than 14,000 magazines and journals with an emphasis on peer-reviewed titles.
  • Gale General Onefile
    Searchable database of citations, abstracts and full text from more than 12,000 magazines and journals with an emphasis on general interest (as opposed to academic/peer reviewed) titles.
  • Nexis  Icon
    Nexis includes the full text of thousands of news and magazine publications from around the world, broadcast transcripts, major blogs, and local papers. Access requires a user ID, password, and training. Contact to arrange training.
    JSTOR provides full-text access to more than 2,000 journals, including many covering archaeology/paleontology topics. Please note that in most instances, more recent issues of journals are not yet available on JSTOR.
  • GreenFILE (EBSCO)
    Abstracts scholarly, general interest, and government sources such topics as global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and recycling.
  • Nature
    An important source for science research and news. The Library provides full-text access to issues from the last four years plus the current year.
  • Science Magazine
    This journal from the American Association for the Advancement of Science includes important science news and research. Access from 1997-present.
  • Science Direct
    Indexes and abstracts over 1,800 science, technical, and medical peer-reviewed journals. Limit by subject using Advanced Search. National Geographic only has access to abstracts. If full text is needed, please contact the Library & Archives.
  • Science Research
    Searches 300 science-related public and commercial collections at once. Search by discipline (e.g. Agricultural Sciences, Biology & Nature, or Earth & Environmental Science).
  • Google Scholar
    Provides a search of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources, including theses, books, abstracts, and articles.
